About
La Piste beach in southern Capbreton is rather quiet and far from the crowds, making it ideal for holidaymakers looking for tranquillity, but it is also exposed to swells. When the weather is clear, you can enjoy a impressive panoramic view with the Pyrenees on one side and the remains of bunkers on the other! The fast and powerful waves are ideal for more experienced surfers.
Eight civilian lifeguards supervise the swimming areas during the summer.
Not to be missed:
Stroll along the Capbreton dune path to get a closer look at the bunkers and the dune flora. A few kilometres away, discover and taste the Vin des Sables (“sand wine”) produced at Domaine de la Pointe.
